Passion For The United States [Story]

Everybody has passion for their country but not as much as a person who has actually served in the military or who is going to serve. People can choose from the National Guard, Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and the Air Force like the graduated student, Josh Russell chose.
“I enlisted in the Air Force because it’s an experience I will never get the chance anywhere else,” said Josh Russell.
“No it wasn’t the first branch I thought of. I wanted to go to the Marine Corps, I mean who wouldn’t wanna be a Marine? But then I started thinking about an education and decided that the Air Force would be a better choice for that,” said Russell.
His job that he got selected for is . Russell’s boot camp date is May 29. Russell had started thinking about enlisting in seventh grade so that he can serve his country and have the military pay for his college.
Principal Matt Diers didn’t start thinking about the military seriously until his senior year. “I enlisted because at the time, college wasn’t for me and the Marine Corps physical aspects challenged me and it was a way for me to leave home, have a pay check, and see the world,” said Principal Diers.
Principal Matt Diers was enlisted for four years and was just a regular grunt rifleman. Diers actually wanted to become a helicopter pilot but when he went to re-up after his four years, he found out he was almost deaf in his left ear so he was discharged.
Trevor Talbott is thinking about enlisting in the United States Marine Corps because, “I wanna prove to myself that I can be the best of the best and earn the eagle, globe, and anchor every step of the way,” said Talbott.
“Hell yeah the Marine Corps was my first choice because they’re the most feared and respected of all the military but I give props to the Navy,” said Talbott.
There are many jobs that people can choose from in the Corps. Talbott said, “I want to become a Scout/Sniper but if I can’t make it as a sniper I want to do something in mechanics.”
Talbott is not quite sure yet if he wants to make it a career if he decides to sign, “I want to see where the Corps will take me. If I get a chance to go to college and have the military pay for it, I’m going to take it but if I love the job I have I want it to be a career.
Trevor Talbott started thinking about the military when he was a freshman and got sold on the Marine Corps.
A lot of people have passion for their country but the biggest patriots of all are the military personnel and the people who want to serve in the military.
